Red River Revel Arts Festival

Red River Revel is a region-defining juried fine-art festival held each October in Shreveport across two weekends. It's ranked in the top 100 fine-art festivals in the U.S. and draws thousands of attendees with local, regional, and national music acts. Direct sales with no commission, provided tent with outer walls, free parking, 24-hour on-site security, and a daily food & beverage per diem. Artists selected by blind jury; booth-placement consideration given to early full-fee payers.

Shreveport Farmers' Market

Held Saturdays in late May through August at Festival Plaza in downtown Shreveport, Shreveport Farmers' Market has been running since 2001. It's a growers-only market — all farmers source from within a 100-mile radius — serving the Northwest Louisiana, Far East Texas, and Southern Arkansas region. The market is USDA-approved to accept SNAP benefits and partners with Greaux the Good to offer dollar-for-dollar matching up to $40 for SNAP cardholders. Food artisans and value-added producers supplement the farmer offerings with manager approval.
