41st annual juried quilt show presented by Asheville Quilt Guild. 300+ quilts on display, 25+ vendors, gift shop, silent auction, quilts for sale, raffle, demonstrations by expert quilters, special exhibits, sewing station for kids. $13,000 in prize money. Sponsored by Moda Fabrics and Aurifil.

Approximately 30,000 visitors. 75-80+ regional vendors offering culinary herbs, medicinal plants, heirloom vegetable starts, native perennials, herbal soaps, salves, tinctures, garden essentials. 20+ free workshops on growing, fermenting, herbal medicine. Free admission and free parking. Operated by nonprofit WNC Herb Marketing Association.

Western NC's largest event. 10-day state fair celebrating agriculture, food, art, and tradition of WNC. Drew 161,059 attendees in 2025. Features food vendors (outside/inside), commercial vendors (outside/inside), heritage crafters (Heritage Circle), wholesale vendor suppliers, Got to Be NC food and non-food vendors. Carnival rides, livestock shows, exhibits, music.

Annual fiber festival with workshops, animal shows, contests, demonstrations, and juried vendors. Set-up Wed-Thu Oct 22-23. Vendor categories include fiber-related products, yarn, animal products, tools. Camping/RV sites available on-site ($50/night before Oct 15, $100 after).

Vintage Market Days of Asheville Metro is held each November at WNC ag Center in Fletcher and features vintage goods, original works, handmade items, clothing, and seasonal offerings curated for an upscale marketplace experience. Vendors come from multiple states. Children under 12 get free admission, and tickets are good for re-entry all weekend.

Upscale vintage-inspired indoor/outdoor marketplace. Spring market hosts 130+ vendors from 16 states bringing original art, antiques, clothing, jewelry, handmade treasures, home decor, outdoor furnishings, edible goods, seasonal plants. Two indoor buildings + outdoor booths + food trucks + live music.
