The Pecan Street Arts Festival, a juried arts, crafts and music festival since 1978, comes twice a year, in May and September, now at the Hill Country Galleria. Austin's 5 events also include producer-only farmers markets at Republic Square downtown on Saturdays and at Mueller's Branch Park Pavilion on Sundays, both year-round, and HOPE Farmers Market in East Austin.

FarmersFounded in 2009 as HOPE Farmers Market, this East Austin institution temporarily closed in February 2020 and has since been reimagined as HOPE Market—a monthly pop-up featuring creatives, crafters, artists, and vendors. The market brings free live music, art, and educational programming alongside entrepreneurship and community building. Future home planned at HOPE Outdoor Gallery with shipping container vendor spaces.
