Held in May at IX Art Park, the 6th annual Charlottesville Arts Festival brings together 50+ visual and performance artists across two days of live music, hands-on workshops, artisan demos, and immersive art experiences. The artist roster spans painting, illustration, jewelry, ceramics, fiber arts, printmaking, glass, and curiosities — plus indoor workshops in cyanotype printing, Japanese woodblock, and yarn spinning filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The City of Charlottesville's flagship Saturday producer market, now in its 53rd season. The City operates three markets under one vendor-application portal — City Market, Farmers in the Park (the city's only Sunday market) and the winter Holiday Market — all covered by the same application.

Farmers Market at Ix is a producer-only market held Saturdays April through November at Ix Art Park in Charlottesville, operated by the nonprofit Market Central. Expect produce, baked goods, and other items sold directly by the farmers and makers who grow and prepare them. The market draws shoppers intentionally seeking local food and direct relationships with producers.
