Established in 1987, the Historic Manassas Farmers Market is a not-for-profit market operated by Historic Manassas, Inc. It was voted Virginia's Best Market in 2020 and "Best in Northern Virginia" by Virginia Living Magazine in 2023 and 2024. The Thursday Market is strictly producer-only, meaning vendors must grow, raise, or make all products sold at the Market from scratch. Held in downtown Manassas at the Harris Pavilion, the Thursday market runs each April through October. The market prioritizes local farms and nurseries, food producers, bakeries, artists and artisans, and other local entrepreneurs. The market accepts SNAP and actively participates in Virginia Fresh Match and Senior & WIC Farmers' Market Nutrition Program (S/FMNP) food access initiatives.

Held in Manassas at the Manassas Museum, Old Town Manassas Art Show & Fall Craft Fair draws 1,300–1,500 attendees. Arts & crafts, food, dessert, direct sales, and general vendors welcome. Admission is free for shoppers.
