Held in Guaynabo since 1976, Carnaval Mabó runs each February/early March at Tablado del Río. The carnival brings together local artisans, musicians, dancers, and performers, with culinary competitions featuring 40+ chefs, parade of floats and comparsas, live salsa orchestras, and food and beverage kiosks. Local artisans display handcrafted goods, from handwoven hammocks to colorful vejigante masks. The festival closes with the traditional Burial of the Sardine. Note: To apply as a vendor for Carnaval Mabó, you must contact the municipal government directly and ask to be transferred to the Departamento de Desarrollo Cultural, as they manage all applications through their cultural offices. Running since 1974 in Ponce, Feria de Artesanías de Ponce draws thousands of visitors each late March or early April. Over 150 artisans exhibit hand-made crafts highlighting Taíno, African, and Spanish traditions — wood, clay, ceramics, leather, metalwork, textiles, and items like vejigantes masks, musical instruments, and religious figures. The fair includes live music, workshops, and traditional food, held at Plaza Las Delicias.

Held each December in Old San Juan's Paseo de la Princesa, the Feria de Artesanías brings together roughly 200 artisans from across Puerto Rico to exhibit and sell traditional and contemporary handwork — ceramics, carved wood, textiles, jewelry, leather goods, and more. Organized by the Puerto Rico Tourism Company in collaboration with the Federation of Artisans, the fair includes live music, workshops, and local food vendors. Held in Bayamón's urban downtown in mid-February, Festival Chuíto el de Bayamón celebrates native Puerto Rican music through the figure of prominent trovador Don Jesús Sánchez Erazo. The event brings together trovadores, artisans, and major music acts across multiple stages throughout the downtown. Expect art exhibitions, conferences, workshops, agricultural fair, and children's activities. A dedicated "Mercado de Petra" supports women entrepreneurs. The festival is established as an annual event in the Cultural District.
