Held in Newport at Fort Adams State Park July 31–August 2, the grandfather of all jazz festivals welcomes food and craft vendors. Held at Brenton Point State Park in Newport, the Newport Kite Festival celebrates its 40th anniversary as a free, volunteer-powered community event drawing kite enthusiasts from across the country.
