Black Heritage Festival
FestivalHeld each September in downtown Clarksburg, the West Virginia Black Heritage Festival attracts people from all across the state. Founded in 1990 as an Emancipation Proclamation Celebration on E.B. Saunders Way, the festival has grown from 10–12 vendors to approximately 50 today. The festival features live music, cultural performances, community celebration, vendors, food, entertainment, and family experiences in Downtown Clarksburg. The festival supplies 110 volts of electricity, and food vendors must adhere to Harrison County Food Handlers Regulations.
Clarksburg WinterFest
WinterfestClarksburg WinterFest is a family-friendly winter celebration held throughout uptown Clarksburg in December, featuring vendors, food trucks, local artisans, and businesses at Jackson Square and surrounding venues. The festival also includes a Christmas parade and pageant programming.
Jesus Fest
FestivalHeld each August in downtown Clarksburg at Jackson Square, Jesus Fest is a free Christian music festival in its 21st year. The two-day event draws national recording artists, speakers, and local bands alongside food and craft vendors, church outreach booths, children's activities, and prayer spaces. Established crowd, steady foot traffic, and community support from local churches and sponsors.
Red, White & Brew
FestivalHeld downtown Clarksburg in the PODA District, this inaugural craft beer and wine festival features six West Virginia breweries along with WV wineries, distilleries, and a cidery. American Idol Golden Ticket Winner Olivia Spino headlines the live music lineup, with additional performances throughout the evening. Attendees receive a commemorative cup and "passport" experience for beer and wine sampling. A first-time event positioned as part of the city's America 250 celebration.
West Virginia Italian Heritage Festival
FestivalHeld each Labor Day weekend, the festival was started in 1979 and draws huge crowds for a three-day street festival with blocks closed to traffic between Main Street's 2nd and 4th streets. Vendors include food vendors and craft vendors, with food as the primary focus — over two dozen Italian dishes from local food and artisan vendors selling everything from traditional fare to smoked meats. The festival includes a coronation ceremony, annual pasta cook-off, 5K run, and golf tournament, plus continuous live music and entertainment throughout the three days.
