This Privacy Policy describes how OddBurton, LLC (“Canopy Season,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares your personal information when you visit or make a purchase from canopyseason.com (the “Site”). It works alongside our Terms of Service. By using the Site, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

Information you give us. When you create a listing, book an advertising placement, purchase a design service, contact us, or sign up for communications, you may provide:

Payment information (handled by our payment provider — see Section 4)
Content you submit, such as ad copy, imagery, and listing details
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we may automatically collect:

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:
Service providers who perform functions on our behalf, including payment processing (Stripe) and database and cloud storage (Supabase). These providers may use your information only to perform services for us.
Legal compliance, when required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights, our users, or the public.
Business transfers, if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
SECTION 4 - PAYMENT PROCESSING
Payments made through the Site are processed by Stripe. We do not store full payment card numbers on our systems. Your payment information is handled according to Stripe’s privacy policy and applicable card-network security standards.
SECTION 5 - COOKIES AND TRACKING
We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to operate the Site and remember your preferences. You can set your browser to refuse cookies, though some parts of the Site may not function properly as a result. We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies.
SECTION 6 - DATA RETENTION
We keep your personal information for as long as needed to provide our services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When we no longer need it, we delete or anonymize it.
SECTION 7 - YOUR RIGHTS
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of certain uses. SECTION 9 - CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
