GIFTY: The Crucible's Holiday Craft Fair
HolidayThe Crucible's annual craft show and open house, spanning two floors of a 56,000-square-foot West Oakland industrial arts facility with 60+ Bay Area makers and 3,500 to 4,000 visitors over the weekend. Vendor categories include bath and body, food and drink, glass, homewares, leather and textiles, paper and mixed media, ceramics and jewelry. A minimum of 20% of vendor spots are reserved for BIPOC artisans, and priority goes to Oakland and neighboring city makers; applicants from outside the Bay Area are not accepted. Two-day commitment required and vendors must reapply each year. Booth (10x10) runs $260-$660 and table (8x6) $130-$330; no application fee.

Montclair Village Art Walk
Craft49th annual juried sidewalk arts and crafts fair lining the Montclair Village shopping district in the Oakland Hills, produced by Pacific Fine Arts Festivals with the Montclair Village Association. Up to 65 artist spaces, roughly 2,000 attendance, and a Sunday farmers market on La Salle Avenue that brings early shoppers. Booth spaces are 4ft deep by 13ft long on narrow concrete sidewalk; no tents, but market umbrellas are welcome, and no electricity or security is provided. Open to handcrafted small-batch work made in the USA by the artisan selling it. This is a commission event and non-Oakland residents need a Special Event Business Tax Certificate.

FestivalOakland's signature free monthly street festival, produced by the Koreatown Oakland Community Benefit District along Telegraph Avenue from West Grand to 27th Street. Thousands attend monthly for galleries, artist collectives, street artists, performers and vendors. Retail vendors must make 75-100% of their own products; resellers and imported goods are not eligible and corporate businesses must enter as sponsors. Registration opens the Monday after each event and closes the Wednesday before the next, or when sold out. Vendors must carry a CA Seller's Permit, City of Oakland Business License and a certificate of liability insurance. Booth pricing scales by category up to $500 retail, $600 food trucks and $700 food booths.
