Held in Yukon each October, the Oklahoma Czech Festival is in its 60th year and transforms downtown into a celebration of Czech heritage with a major parade down Route 66, live polka bands, folk dancing, and food vendors selling koláče and klobasy. The festival spans two days — Friday night opens the Pivo (Beer) Garden and Carnival; Saturday features the parade at 10 a.m., followed by all-day festivities at the Oklahoma Czech building including an Arts and Crafts show, carnival rides, and live entertainment. Expect strong foot traffic and an established crowd.

Rock the Route
