Salem Art Fair & Festival

The Salem Art Fair and Festival is an annual fundraiser for the Salem Art Association running in September in Salem, Oregon. It's one of the largest of its kind in the Pacific Northwest, drawing local and national artists and attracting 35,000 attendees annually. The 77th edition takes place September 11–13, 2026, with applications now open on Zapplication. The fair is held in Bush's Pasture Park, home to a historic white oak grove. Artist applications require 4 images (including a booth shot) and have a jury fee of $50. The event accepts emerging artist applications and has an emerging artist program. Alongside fine art, the fair features 200+ juried artists, live music, and food and beverage vendors including local beer and wine.

Salem Saturday Market has been a downtown Salem landmark, drawing 100+ vendors each season with fresh produce, artisan crafts, prepared food, and live music. The market accepts SNAP benefits and partners with Oregon Double Up Food Bucks — for every $2 in SNAP spent on eligible produce, shoppers get a dollar-for-dollar match up to $20. Salem Community Markets also runs summer weekday markets and a holiday market year-round, all stocking only handmade, homemade, and homegrown products from local vendors.
