Held in Charlestown at Ninigret Park, the 41st Annual Charlestown Seafood Festival is one of New England's biggest events — three days of Rhode Island seafood, live music across multiple stages, carnival rides, a classic car show, fireworks, and arts & crafts vendors. The festival draws established crowds looking for food, entertainment, and amusement all in one place.

Held at Lafayette Mill on Route 102 in North Kingstown, the Coastal Growers' Winter Market operates Saturdays through May. Vendors offer vegetables, fruits, cheeses, naturally raised meats, breads and baked goods, fresh eggs, preserves, honey, chocolate, local seafood and fish, popcorn, flowers, cold-pressed juices, mushrooms, wreaths, soaps, coffee, and handmade pizza. The market is located inside a historic former mill building that has been converted for commercial use. This is a year-round market with separate outdoor and indoor locations — summer at Casey Farm in Saunderstown.
