Angelina County Fair is a county fair held each late March/early April in Lufkin featuring food and commercial vendors alongside traditional fair exhibitor contests. Registration requires reading the rules before entry.

Held in Lufkin, Angelina County Farmers Market operates Friday–Saturday year-round at a large covered facility offering fresh local produce, jellies, honey, plants, and diverse vendors. Under new management since 2019, the market draws a mix of farmers and artisans in a surrounded setting with ample parking. Note that some vendors run cash-only — no ATMs on-site — though many accept cards (Lonestar, Discover, Mastercard, Visa).

West Texas' longest-running art festival; started 1993. Award-winning street festival transforms main streets of Alpine. Organized by Alpine's Gallery Night Inc., 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Galleries, studios, public art, live music, food trucks. Always weekend before Thanksgiving. Free to attend.

Held in downtown Longview four times each year, ArtWalk is a free self-guided art tour through business venues exhibiting and selling work. Founded in 2007 and now the signature event of the Arts!Longview Cultural District, it regularly draws 100+ artists — painting, sculpture, photography, textiles, mixed media — plus food trucks, street musicians, and local businesses hosting artists. Free to participate and free to attend. Artists provide their own setup; food vendors must secure City of Longview permits (filed 5 days in advance, no fee).

Bay Area Farmers Market operates Sunday mornings in Friendswood and draws 40+ vendors selling produce, prepared foods, baked goods, coffee, kombucha, hot sauce, jerky, seafood, and artisan goods — vendor roster shifts weekly. Strong mix of local producers: hydroponically-grown vegetables, fresh eggs, seasonal fruit, mushrooms, Gulf shrimp, pasture-raised meat, and handcrafted items like candles, skincare, and jewelry.

Bayou City Art Festival – Downtown is a juried fine art festival ranked 11th in the nation, held each March in Sam Houston Park in downtown Houston. The festival has been running for more than 50 years and invites 300 selected artists across 19 different disciplines. All artists are blind-juried via Zapplication; the highest-scoring submissions are invited to participate. Expect strong attendance and a proven track record of solid sales for participating artists.

Running for more than 50 years, Bayou City Art Festival – Memorial Park is a juried fine art festival consistently ranked in the nation's top 10. Held each October in Memorial Park in the heart of Houston, it draws 300 selected artists across 19 disciplines with a strong track record of sales and attendance. All artists are scored by blind jury via Zapplication — the highest-scoring applicants are invited to participate.

Held each September in downtown Athens on the Henderson County square, the Black-Eyed Pea Jamboree celebrates Athens as the Black-Eyed Pea Capital of the World and honors Uncle Fletch Davis, credited with inventing the hamburger. Running since 1971, the festival draws arts & craft vendors, food vendors, and food-truck operators alongside competitions, live entertainment, a 5K race, and family activities. Vendor mix spans cookoff competitors and general craft/food merchants.

Blue Hills at Round Top is the biggest antique venue in Round Top — a fifty-two acre property with 150,000 square feet of shopping space and over 100 curated vendors stocked with antiques, art, and home décor. A favorite stop during Texas Antique Week for interior designers and serious shoppers drawn to the rustic pole-barn setting. Free parking and easy highway access.

Held in historic downtown Wills Point each spring, Bluebird Jamboree celebrates the town's identity as "Bluebird Capital of Texas." The 2nd annual festival brings together local artisans, food vendors, and live entertainment. Expect shoppers intentionally seeking local makers and seasonal goods. Vendors must provide their own electrical setup. Chamber members receive a 50% discount on booth rental; food vendors with a single menu item get an additional $25 discount. Requires Texas sales tax permit and booth photos with application.

Running since 1881, Brenham Maifest is Texas's oldest festival — a springtime celebration of the town's German heritage held each May. Expect parades, coronations, live music, and cultural festivities drawing hundreds of volunteers and generations of community. The festival operates as a nonprofit; proceeds support local park upkeep, college scholarships, and charitable donations.

Run by Brownsville Wellness Coalition (nonprofit) at Southern Pacific Linear Park in the Mitte Cultural District. One of only three certified markets in the RGV accepting SNAP and WIC. Local growers, artisans, handmade goods, prepared foods, wellness products. Free yoga and fitness classes most Saturdays before market. 11-day festival on Downtown Corpus Christi Bayfront since 1938. Rodeo Corpus Christi, professional bull riding (PBR Velocity Tour Finals), carnival rides, parades, concerts. The Shops at Treasure Island feature 76,500 sq ft of exhibit space with juried vendors covering a wide range of products. ~83,000-120,000 attendees. Buccaneer Commission nonprofit operator; $2.6M+ in educational scholarships awarded to date. 2026 expanded to Portland with Driscoll Children's Parade.
