In Fairbanks's South Cushman neighborhood, at 24th Ave & Rickert Street, Southside Market is a friendly, community-focused farmer's market launching in 2015 offering local vegetables, eggs, bread, meat & other farm-based goods from farmers, bakers & food makers. This is a farm & food-focused market — vendors may sell fresh food & farm products such as vegetables, herbs, meat, eggs, honey, bread, fresh-cut flowers and other products made using locally grown/raised ingredients. No crafts, made to order/prepared foods or products made without locally grown/raised ingredients. The market runs rain or shine from June through the end of September, but vendors do not have to attend every week. All vendors must have an Alaska State Business License, as well as a Fairbanks City Business License for selling within the city limits.

Tanana Valley Farmers Market is Fairbanks' anchor farmers market, running Wednesday and Saturday throughout the summer. All vendors must be Alaska-based producers — farmers growing produce, herbs, flowers, or nursery crops; processors making fresh foods like meat, fish, or baked goods; or crafters handmaking their own goods. The vendor roster is deep and diverse: produce, bedding plants, native handicrafts, jewelry, pottery, artwork, wildflower honey, specialty jams and jellies, hot foods, and baked goods. Tanana Valley State Fair

Founded in 1924, Tanana Valley State Fair is Alaska's oldest fair and Fairbanks's largest annual event, drawing thousands of visitors over ten days each late summer. Hundreds of vendors sell crafts, food, and general merchandise alongside livestock shows, horse shows, art exhibits, games, rides, and two stages of free daily entertainment. Vendors can compete for a theme-award ribbon and 50% off their 2027 booth fee. Returning vendors must apply by January 31st to maintain their space.
