Held in Jacksonville at Onslow Pines Park, the Coastal Pig-out BBQ Festival is run by Onslow County Parks & Recreation. The event features multiple BBQ cook-offs, vendors, and live entertainment. Expect antique/collectibles, crafts, fine art, fine craft and homegrown products exhibitors, plus 15 food booths.

Held each May in Jacksonville at the Jacksonville Commons Recreation Complex, Jacksonville's Jamboree is a free spring celebration featuring live music, food trucks, marketplace vendors, and family amusements including amusement rides, a petting zoo, and kids' activities. 60 craft and information vendors and 20+ food trucks/food vendors participate. Held the first weekend in December at Jacksonville Commons, the three-day Arts & Crafts Show draws 60 exhibitors to an artisan market featuring a gingerbread house workshop, pet photos with Santa, and activities inside the recreation complex. Weather not a factor—it's a 3-day indoor event. Organized by Coastal Carolina Artists & Crafters Guild Inc, it draws around 2,000 attendees.

Onslow County Farmers Market runs Saturdays April through late November in Jacksonville and connects local farmers and artisans with the community. The market features fresh produce, meat, eggs, honey, baked goods, and handmade artisan products—all locally grown or handmade. SNAP/EBT accepted. The market also supports eligible WIC and Seniors through the NC Farmers Market Nutrition program.

Held each July 4th in Jacksonville at Onslow Pines Park, the Freedom Festival is a free Independence Day celebration drawing around 9,000 attendees.
