Bordeaux Farmers Rastafari Agricultural and Cultural Vegan Food Fair
FairWe Grow Food Inc.'s major annual fundraiser, held in the mountains at the Bordeaux market site. Vegan food vendors, local drink makers, farmers and artisans sell cuisine, baked goods, herbal products, fresh juices and handmade crafts; arts and crafts vendors bring soaps, body products, baskets, jewelry and incense. Includes an animal petting farm and a weekend of educational programming.
Bordeaux Farmers' Market
FarmersRun by We Grow Food Inc., a farming collective working the land in the Bordeaux mountains, many of whose members are Rastafarian. Local produce, herbs, teas and crafts alongside vegan chefs cooking ital food and local beekeepers selling honey. The market stage hosts DJs, bands, poets and speakers, and the adjacent activity center runs learning sessions on market days.
Christiansted Jump Up
FestivalStreet vendors set tables throughout downtown Christiansted selling local food and drink, jewelry, arts and crafts. Downtown businesses extend hours to match. Moko jumbies parade on stilts through the streets after dark. The November edition falls on Thanksgiving weekend and functions as the island's holiday shopping kickoff.
Crucian Christmas Festival
HolidaySt. Croix's carnival, organized into its modern form in 1952 and run by the VI Department of Tourism's Division of Festivals. Festival Village booths sell local food and artisan crafts through late-night hours across the nine-day run, alongside pageants, calypso and soca competitions, J'ouvert and two parades.
Crucian Coconut Festival
FestivalOrganized by St. Croix Farmers in Action on the historic Estate Bethlehem Sugar Factory grounds. Curated exhibits span agriculture, commerce, fine arts, horticulture, crafts, fashion and food, with a Taste of Coconut competition, a jelly scoop contest and a fine arts exhibit featuring local and Caribbean artists. Marks the opening of the Crucian Christmas season.

FestivalThe St. George Village Botanical Garden's largest annual fundraiser, drawing over 100 local craft and food vendors. Northside Christmas Market
HolidayFounded by a former market vendor to create a dedicated selling space for Virgin Islands crafters, bakers and small businesses. The organizer prioritizes vendors who make their products by hand in the territory, then other small local businesses. Recent editions featured locally distilled guava berry rum, coquito, original art, crochet, tropical plants, artisan soaps and candles, handcrafted jewelry, preserves and glass art, with steel pan music through the day.
Rhythms at Sunset
FestivalOur Town Frederiksted's monthly waterfront series, launched in 2024 to revive downtown nightlife. Food, beverage and artisan vendors are a standing recurring feature alongside live music, dance and spoken word. Admission is free; the organizer runs a bar as a fundraiser for town revitalization projects.
Saturday Market Farmer's Exchange
FarmersThe VI Department of Agriculture's centralized weekly market. Farmers bring plants, produce, meats, fish and eggs alongside sauces, spice mixes, jams and jellies. Historically sited at Estate La Reine on Route 75 and still widely known by that name; relocated to the Agricultural Complex for distancing and remained there.
Southgate Corner Farmer's Market
FarmersRoadside market at the East End Road intersection near Southgate Baptist Church. Locally grown fruit and vegetables plus cheese, honey, eggs, baked goods, handmade soaps and plants. The vendor roster rotates week to week.
St. John Celebration Cultural Food, Arts and Craft Fair
FairDay-long food and craft fair during St. John Celebration. Booths line the street and fill Franklin Powell Park with tarts, stews, cakes, fudge, stewed mutton, crab and rice, whelks, fried fish, pates and rotis, plus local drinks including sorrel, passion fruit and tamarind, alongside craft vendors. Coincides with the royalty coronation and boat races in Cruz Bay Harbor.
St. John Celebration Village
FestivalCarnival village at Knight's Ville with nightly entertainment, food vendors and artisan booths open through the early-morning hours. Vendors work in traditional madras plaid; carnival rides and games surround the booths. Recruitment is separate from the Celebration Food Fair earlier in the month.
St. Thomas Carnival Food Fair and Carnival Village
FestivalThe territory's marquee carnival, run by the VI Department of Tourism's Division of Festivals. The Food Fair at Emancipation Garden offers traditional Virgin Islands cuisine and handmade arts and crafts from local vendors; the Carnival Village at Fort Christian Lot runs nightly food stalls and craft vendors across six themed concert nights. The Division handles booth applications and maintains a waiting list for Village slots.
Striving Artists Day
CraftRun by the St. Croix Landmarks Society on the grounds of Estate Whim Museum, and organized annually since shortly after Hurricane Hugo in 1989 specifically to give island craftspeople a selling outlet. Local artists, jewelers and craftspeople exhibit alongside food vendors and local musicians. Vendors apply by downloadable form submitted by email, mail or in person, with booth payment by PayPal or in office.
Vendors Plaza
ArtisanThe territory's designated street-vending area and the only legal pitch for most non-food street vendors on St. Thomas. Vendors work from booths, tables and tents selling hand-painted gourds, charm bracelets, woven hats, sarongs, carved bowls, watercolors, candles and silver jewelry, plus hair braiding and food stands.
