Williamsburg's almost year-round arts and street festival; on the 2nd Sunday of every month March-December, 200 tents of unique arts, handcrafts and live music stroll downtown and Colonial Williamsburg. 43rd annual juried art and craft show at 1410 W. 43rd Street in the Forest Hill neighborhood; showcases 75 regional artisans and craftsmen with food trucks, live music, kids activities. Annual benefit — all art raffle donations support CARITAS, a Richmond nonprofit serving those experiencing homelessness or addiction. Admission free.

Abingdon Farmers Market is a vendor-run, year-round market in downtown Abingdon for local farmers, artisans, and food producers within a 75-mile radius to sell directly to the community. Expect fresh produce, meats, eggs, baked goods, and crafts — all grown or made by your neighbors. The market accepts SNAP and VA Fresh Match.

Started in 2016, Albemarle Farmers Market in Hollymead brings together local farm vendors, bakers, artisans in a producer-market format—items must be made, grown, or produced by the vendor. Expect produce, meats, baked goods, plants, fresh cut flowers, honey, eggs, preserves, seafood, soaps, lotions, and a range of crafts and jewelry. Open each Saturday 8:30am–12pm May through September. Plenty of free parking. No commission on sales.

Holiday market run by Albemarle Farmers Market at the Forest Lakes South Pool and Recreation Center parking lot (1650 Ashwood Blvd); vendor selection based on goods proposed, mix of vendors already accepted, and whether products are made/grown/produced by the vendor.

Held each November in Old Town Alexandria at John Carlyle Square, Fall-O-Ween features a marketplace with local artisans and crafters, live music, and a beer garden.
