Held each June at Heritage Port in downtown Wheeling, Wheeling Feeling Chili Cookoff has been running since 2002 and is presented by the City of Wheeling and sanctioned by the International Chili Society. The event is open to restaurants, commercial vendors, individual cooks, and vendors offering crafts, apparel, food items, spices and more. Competitors vie for cash prizes in several categories, including ICS Red, ICS Chili Verde, ICS Homestyle and Veggie.
